1. Ajourney & Data Protection Policies
Ajourney is dedicated to being compliant with data protection policies in the locations where we operate. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and users. We have implemented policies and practices to ensure that your personal data is handled in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
2. Information We Collect and How We Collect It
When you access our Site or use the Services, we collect and store certain information about you, including “personal data.” Personal Data is information that, alone or in combination with other information in our possession, could be used to personally identify you. We may collect or receive the following categories of Personal Data when you access the Site, request to receive information about Ajourney or its Services, create an account, verify your identity, use any of the Services, or otherwise communicate with us, including through customer support channels:

- Service Usage Information such as data related to the workflows and automations you create and manage through our platform

We automatically collect certain information when you access the Site or use the Services.

- Any data in any files uploaded, emailed, or otherwise provided by customers
- The contents of your communications with us, whether via email, messaging, calls, or otherwise
- Electronic & Online Identifiers (IDs), such as:
- If on a mobile device: mobile carrier, device IDs, and mobile advertising IDs
- If using a browser: operating system, browser type, and Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Geolocation Information, such as:
- Approximate location derived from IP address (if using a browser)
- Internet Activity Information, such as:

- The pages that you visit before, after, and while using our Services

We collect information using Tracking Technologies, such as:

- Respond to requests or questions you submit to our customer support team

3.1 When and With Whom We Share Your Information
We will only share your information with the categories of third parties listed below for the purposes described above in the “Use of Your Information” section, unless otherwise noted at the point of collection.
- Service Providers that have signed an agreement with us that limits how they use your information and promises to keep your information confidential
- Third-party partners with integrations through our Site or Services, such as accounting software (e.g., Xero)
Subprocessors
Ajourney may use the following subprocessors to help with the delivery of our Services. Prior to engaging any third party subprocessor, Ajourney performs diligence to evaluate their privacy, security and confidentiality practices.

3.2 Your Data and AI
We do not use your data for training AI models.
Use of Third-Party APIs
We do not use Google Workspace APIs or any other third-party APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized/non-personalized AI and/or ML models.
Third-Party Model Providers
We do not share customer data with third-party AI model providers for the purpose of improving their product or models. Our agreements with OpenAI and Anthropic ensure that they do not train on data sent to them via Ajourney’s APIs.
4. Protection of Your Data
We adopt and implement best practices when it comes to information security to protect the confidentiality of your data. For further details, please read our Security Policy.
5. Retention of Personal Data
We retain your data for the length of time needed to fulfill our Services. In addition, we retain data after we cease providing Services to you, to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations. Where we retain data, we do so in accordance with any limitation periods and records retention obligations that are imposed by applicable laws.
You can request for deletion of your data by making a withdrawal request as highlighted in the next section.
6. Request for Access, Correction, or Withdrawal of Personal Data
You may request to access, correct, or withdraw the Personal Data currently in our possession or control by submitting a written request to us at [email protected].
We must verify your identity before fulfilling your requests. If we cannot initially verify your identity, we may request additional information to complete the verification process. We will only use Personal Data provided in a request to verify the requestor’s identity.
We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
Your withdrawal of consent could result in certain legal consequences arising from such withdrawal. Depending on the extent of your withdrawal of consent for us to process your Personal Data, it may mean that you will no longer be able to access or use the Site and Services.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Any information that we collect is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected. We may, however, modify and revise our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes to this policy, we will notify you of such changes by posting them on the Site, informing you through the Services, or sending you an email or other notification, and we will indicate when such changes will become effective. By continuing to access or use the Site or the Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised policy.
